Comedy Night

Laughter, libations, and Life, as we know it. Celebrate the opening of the Museum's new exhibits at our themed comedy night, in partnership with Jericho Comedy.
Oxford University Museum of Natural History and Jericho Comedy have teamed up to present you with our Life, as we know it comedy night. Enjoy stand-up routines and activity stalls themed around natural history.
Hosted by Alex Farrow – “Practically perfect in every way” ★★★★★ (The Scotsman) – as heard on BBC Radio 4 and BBC Sounds.
You’ll also have the chance to explore the Museum after dark, and enjoy a bar, crafts, insect handling and much, much more!
Please note that this event is suitable for visitors aged 18 and over.
About the comedians...
Iszi Lawrence – Host of the British Museum member cast and dinosaur fan, featured on BBC Radio 4 and Netflix
Simon Watt – UCL biologist and founder of the Ugly Animal Society
Burt Williamson – "Hilarious" (The Scotsman), featured in the Jericho Comedy Creepy Crawly Night at the Museum
Alison Woollard – Oxford biologist, Fellow of Hertford College, featured on the BBC Royal Institution Christmas Lectures

Entry is £11.37 per person and tickets must be booked in advance. We are offering two entry times:
- Early entry (18:30):
- 18:30 – 19:00 Doors open
- 19:00 – 20:00 Comedy performance
- 20:00 – 21:15 Museum activities
- Late entry (19:00):
- 19:00 – 20:00 Doors open
- 20:00 – 20:30 Museum activities
- 20:30 – 21:30 Comedy performance
